Welcome to Tek and HP Parts

We thank you for visiting the site and hope that you find the parts you need for your Tektronix or HP repair project!

A couple of important points:

• Sphere Research’s inventory has found a new home with us and we are honored to make these parts available to the Tek and HP enthusiast community. Unfortunately, we can’t hope to provide the same depth of knowledge that Walter Shawlee possessed, but we will strive to help in any way we can to help make your repair project successful.
• The process of conducting an inventory and figuring out reasonable prices for the parts is ongoing. We are making slow progress, starting first with the Tektronix parts. Once the Tek parts inventory is complete, we will move on to HP and then some generic semiconductors. As we complete batches of parts, we will add them to the site for direct order fulfillment.
  If you do not see the Tek or HP item you are looking for on the website, it may just not be in inventory yet, so please contact us at tom@tekandhpparts.com with your requests.
• Our goal is to get these parts to folks like you, so that you can keep your awesome examples of electronic and mechanical design functioning and in use. We are not looking to gouge anyone, but it would be nice to be able to pay back our retirement fund! So we are trying to strike some kind of balance, but payback is truly a secondary consideration. We greatly appreciate any purchase you might choose to make
• We are retired, have three children, farm 20 acres of grass hay, tend to cows, sheep, horses and chickens, and have far too many responsibilities to have taken on another, but here we are…. We will do our best to be responsive, and truly appreciate you understanding an occasional delay or dropped ball.
